 Logos

These are by no means all the logos I've ever done, just the most recent.

Northwest Laser Tracking
A ton of time can be saved when I have to re-do a logo if you know what font it's in. In this case I hand-drew the lettering from scratch. This is an offshoot of another company, the client wanted a logo similar to the parent.
Pilates MauiThe client and I went back and forth on this for ages, I used dozens of different font examples, and when I sent her several examples, the fonts didn't transfer correctly, and she liked Arial. I didn't know if I should die laughing or commit seppuku.
Darrington Classic Rock Festival 2005My most recent work for the Darrington Classic Rock Festival. This was one of three I just sent off for approval, but this one's my favorite. The mountain in the background is White Horse, which you'll see if you go to the venue in the North Cascades. I can't guarantee that much snow, however.

Maui Real Estate

There's a lot of realtors in Maui, and we needed to find what set Pictor apart from the hoard. Besides being a successful business owner & an all-around fun guy to talk biz with. He is a pilot, therefore he'd seen more of Maui than almost anyone; plus he loves golf, giving him an in with aficianados. The pun was suggested by a friend of mine. The domain was available & we went from there.

Greystone Concrete Design
Greystone has quickly become a very successful concrete business. The owner was pretty specific as to what he wanted, enough so he was standing over my shoulder the entire time I was working on it. I charge the same whether you want to micromanage or not, though the former tends to take longer. To be honest, nothing comes anywhere close to what I put up with while I was working full time.

This was for my partner's personal site. I wanted to capture the four elements in the logo. So I found the fire-eater, the hanglider, whitewater kayaking and rock climbing. The character in the middle was based on a picture I found of him cliff diving. The Ankh merely reflects the name.
