After my companion headed back to the US, I took two days to investigate the UKs largest city.  Strangely enough, I'd not spent much time there previously, I was usually whisked right to the Midlands.

London is completely unlike anywhere else in the UK; its as though the whole world got together & decided to build a city.  I'd say one in 6 people I ran into were actually English.  If I had one word to describe London it was "teeming".  It was more 'New York' than New York, but for the most part, my opinion of humanity went up a notch, as the people of London were surprisingly friendly.
